Thursday, March 2, 2023 - Dinner at Iki Ramen (Iki Ramen, Los Angeles CA): It is always a treat to have a Piper Rare and this is no different. There is so much depth and class to the nose with loads of toast, brioche, baked apples, pears, quince, honeydew, biscuits, lemon curd, and custard. The Medium bodied feel has a lot of texture, depth, and richness while still playing a deft hand. The tart, high acidity is mouthwatering and in great balance. This was a real joy to drink as it showed off a lot of expression, balance, and texture.
