Saturday, December 30, 2023 - Amazing bottle of wine. Sampled with other exquisite bordeaux and bordeaux blend wines that night and this easily won WOTN. Still, black inky color with tremendous nose of black cherries, rose, liquorice, toast and jasmine perfume. Mouthfeel was light, ephemeral like a pomerol without the weight. Tannins were there, barely, yet the fruit was not heady or over bearing. Earth notes of forrest floor and graphite, cherry and other black frutis, but VELVET smooth. Long lasting finish that waffted through the back palate and into the nose. Tremedous wine
