Saturday, January 20, 2024 - Deep purple, with medium intensity, developed aromas of violet, raspberry, blackberry, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cedar. This wine has medium body, high alcohol, medium acidity, and a medium finish. The pallet matches the aromas with the exception of vanilla, which comes through relatively strong mid palette. What is disappointing is that the flavor intensity of the pallet does not match the aroma intensity. This is a good wine. That should be drunk now. And within the next five years.
