Friday, January 19, 2024 - Pearl of Burgundy special cuvee lunch: Bright raspberry fruit. The energy here helped to dial down the rustic and stemmy notes. Both the '17 and '19 were distinctly earthy Gevreys compared to the Fourriers and Mortets.

    1/24/2024 6:52:00 AM - Fourrier by a large margin, then Mortet and Duroche. But the latter two were no slouches, and Duroche was probably the most true to Gevrey. All great wines!
