Sunday, June 21, 2009 - Nose: rich perfumed spice and herbs, vanilla, rich berries, very welcoming if that makes sense, re-assuring and comforting.
Mouth: Plenty of tannin, plum, dry and tight. Almost like savoury black treacle and molasses. Lovely soft velvet. Long finish that fills the mouth wondefully.
I'm not really a right bank kind of chap but this is absolutely marvellous. Very, very happy with it and the 2008 is going to go on the En Primeur list.
