Thursday, January 25, 2024 - Three hour slow ox. Very deep dark magenta color. Cranberry, walnut, black cherry, cassis, and coffee beans. Dry, plush palate. Firm, full, lower intensity tannins on the medium long finish.

I enjoyed this wine more than I normally do in recent years. It’s rich and smoky. It’s probably lower quality than it was years ago (much like Prisoner), but still a solid QPR. My score may have a one point bonus built in for value.
