Monday, February 19, 2024 - Wonderfully evolved now and testament to ageing these wines. Still four years ago, this was pretty massive and tough (at least in my book), whereas now, the wine is fully open for business, nice remainders of fruit and lots of cloves, dark berries and leather. Tannins now melted but still full of structure. 22 years, minor vintage, great chateau, a winning formula. A good buy for some 10 years more i guess and probably a superb PQR.
