Saturday, February 24, 2024 - The Herold Oakville’19 is drinking better than last year. The aromas are more pronounced, super expressive this time around. The lush blackberries, plums, dark cherries are bundled up in a beautiful bouquet along with scrumptious spices, crushed rocks, chocolate and fine Oakville dust. The texture is so silky smooth with bright acids, freshness and elegant tannins.
VHR ‘18 extended age had more depth. The Herold wins in the aromas. Both are great wines. Cheers!
