Tuesday, February 27, 2024 - Cigar, black cherries, cranberry, soil, maybe a hint of something ferrous. Very fragrant, I can smell this well before my nose gets to the glass. Tannins are quite powerful now, and maybe a little unpleasantly drying without food, but this was the whole package with amatriciana tonight. It’s strange to see so many negative notes recently since I think this is marvelous.
