Thursday, March 7, 2024 - Had a glass and didn't get much last night. Second day and it's showing mich better. Rustic and fragrant nose with rubbed sage, fennel, espresso beans, red cherries, roses, some toffee and a little bit of eucalyptus perhaps. Rich tart red cherries and black cherries that flex quite a bit of muscle on the palate. Some coffee and spice notes as well with a hint of vanilla on the finish. Grippy tannins and mouthwatering acidity. This needs at least 5 more years. Really nice Chianti Riserva.
