Sunday, March 10, 2024 - Delicious fully mature left bank St Julien. Deep crimson red color, cork half soaked. Easily beat a 2000 Beychevelle drunk alongside. Nose of cassis, pepper, dark red currants, some pencil lead. Medium bodied on the palate, hedonistic, slightly austere but quite pleasurable finishes with decent length and complexity with tannins well resolved but subtly persistent.
