Tuesday, March 12, 2024 - An estate that we visited back in 2013. 70% Pinot Meunier, 15% each of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from vines averaging 40 years old. Disgorged Oct. 2020. 5g/l dosage. The base wine is from 2014 but this is a solera going back to 1998. This was a fuller bodied champagne with a leesy nose. Moderate+ bead. Light yellow color. Well rounded with apple, chalk and honey notes. Playful finish. I have one more bottle which I will hold for a few years. 92-93 points.
