Wednesday, March 27, 2024 - Opened at Noble Rot Mayfair. Served by Coravin, amidst a flight of other Lachauxs with Charles also around. #2507

Not as good as the others today. Slightly darker and more broody - less playful and I feel this was the least forwardly approachable of the CL wines I've enjoyed recently. With some air it opened a bit, but still remained tight. The palate was very clean and supple but I suspect this is a wine that just needs a little more time and age to open up fully. It is a 2021 after all...

Still, what a pleasure to try these wines with Charles around! And always a pleasure to share with the NR team.
