Friday, April 5, 2024 - Deep concentration of red fruits an semi dark fruits on the nose. Taste sits right on the mid palate( middle of my tongue) tannins are soft an slightly grainy acidity is there but in balance with the tannins. Wine has great structure. I feel the bottle can still age a have a better showing. Finish does last long but it is a strong finish. U can tell from the nose the wine has concentration but the palate doesn’t follow in the footsteps of the nose. Still very good I do get some terroir an some pencil shavings on the nose as well. Slight tart red fruit flavor but nothing like u get from Pinot noirs. Feel like the finish gives me soft blue fruit flavors similar to blueberries Great wine all in all. I let this have about 4 hours of air btw before tasting.
