Saturday, April 6, 2024 - It’s been a consistent wine for me and after having had it multiple times three years ago fun to check in again. Initially the winemaking signature seems a bit more in the background but it reverts to what I remembered quickly with 20 minutes of air. The nose just such sexy oak framed dark berries with a rose kiss, intoxicating! The attack on the palate is more mineral than years ago, slightly brooding but open enough to be fully enjoyed now. I wonder where this wine goes from here. Given my last bottle I might not be able to testify to it.
