Friday, April 12, 2024 - Light ruby with a touch of garnet. Fine light colour. Transparent. Notes of dried strawberries and cranberries. Citrus peel - flavour and texture - blood orange. Lovely mineral and stoney core. Quite a bit of fine tannic structure - so I think this has years to go and will be interesting to see how. Savoury and definitely a food wine. Long. Light to medium body. Fresh. Depth of favour belies the light colour as is the case with Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Excellent indeed.
