Thursday, April 18, 2024 - Glass poured from standard bottle at Essential by Christophe. Toasty, deep and complex nose. Some fruit (bruised apple, pear) but most tertiary notes, brioche dominant. The palate is a brioche, citrus, green apple, slight citrus on the finish. Lovely, though generally terrible QPR if I’m being honest. Great wine, but for the price, there are so many great Champagnes.
