Friday, April 26, 2024 - This has a really nice medium golden color. Notes of peach, some citrus, slate, also some petroleum, honey, wet stone, but also still plenty of smokey minerality. It‘s medium+ bodied, with good persistence, has medium+ acidity, a hint of RS and a medium-long saline fiinish. I haven‘t had this in a few years and wow, for a 13 year old wine that was retailing at USD 23 and still is, this is absolutely stunning. It‘s not gonna fall off the table in the next 5 years or so.
