Sunday, April 28, 2024 - Cork broke on opening. Wine was decanted and given 3 hours to breathe. Bouquet was lovely. The color was as deep and dark as I’ve ever seen in a wine — really striking. It drank beautifully, but IMO there’s no further reward for waiting at this point.
