Saturday, December 16, 2023 - K&L Grand Bordeaux Tasting: This feels a little closed on the nose, though I smell a focused beam of cassis coming through. Lighter body and weight on the palate than the '19 and '20 Rauzan Segla, though its still relatively fruit forward and velvety texturally. Firm, drying tannins with a long finish with a hint of spice. While this is ripe, it feels a little more tolerable than the very ripe Rauzan Segla wines.
