Thursday, May 9, 2024 - Nick A's 2012 Burgundy Horizontal (Table A) (Noizé, London): Something slightly spirity here; almost like a redcurrant liqueur. Some smoky bresaola, a hint of pickled walnut and a touch of ground black pepper. Nice balance in the mouth, acidity a point and a lovely length and richness too. Hint of strawberry shortcake in time and more blue fruits emerging. Hint of inkwell too.
