Sunday, May 5, 2024 - Forest floor, red fruit, maybe a hint of leather, cherries, and sweeter fruit on the nose. It started out a bit reserved but really blossomed with air. The palate is very nice as well and shows some tertiary character, sous bois, but still plenty of fruit and feels slightly sweeter than the nose. Good finish. This was a really good, very traditional Burgundy that's probably drinking close to peak right now.
