Monday, October 19, 2009 - Newport-Castle Hill. decanted. nose of ripe black fruit, liquorice, tobacco, meat and leather. On the palate there's more sweet black fruit and candied cherries, prunes, a bit of soy and great St. Julien typicity with tell tale graphite .Smooth polished tannins and mouth feel, followed by a great finish. This is drinking very well and open for business.
