Wednesday, December 30, 2009 - Dark purple core with ruby rim. Nose of deep red flowers, smoke, figs, and dried red and black fruit. On the palate there is vanilla, raspberry, blackberry, and a bit of alcoholic heat. Great wine, priced well. Not a classic (as many have argued here) but still an excellent, powerful Spanish red.
