Saturday, February 20, 2010 - Deep red colour with little sign of ageing. On nose, plenty of big black fruits confirming ripeness of 03. Ripe fruits on palette backed by a meatiness uncharateristic of Bordeaux, but underlying pencil-shaving notes. Well structured, firm tannins and good acids. Drinking fine now but would benefit from further ageing.
