Served at the July 23rd North Texas Winos Tasting Dinner at Amici’s Signature Italian in Carrollton, Texas. This wine was lovingly referred to as “The Pig Wine” by our Italian challenged winos. It seemed to be a QPR hit for this crowd. Wine was opened and served without decanting. Dark fruit nose with just a hint of sawdust towards the end. Jammy cherry flavor with a hint of earthiness on the finish. Firm tannins. 87 points. Drink now through 2005.
