Tuesday, April 6, 2010 - Popped and poured. This was my first '07 SS. A much lighter-bodied effort from this producer- this for better or worse lacks a lot of the oak, sweetness, and extraction that they are known for. This definitely improved in the glass over time, and was a big hit with our tasting group. I am curious whether SS will continue this stylistic change- I like it- but this may not appeal to fans of "full throttle" PN.
