There is light alcohol detected on the finish that comes off a little bitter. The longer this has been open, the more expressive the fruit becomes. Possibly bottle variation, possibly age? I'm leaving half of the bottle overnight to see if it improves tomorrow, based on previous experience it should. Day 2 showed more open fruit, a more balanced structure and palate, and just came off more delicious. I'll leave the score at 89, dunno whether to save my remaining bottles or drink up? I guess I'll just save them with my fingers crossed.
