Thursday, May 13, 2010 - Friends brought this over to share with our crab cakes. Initial nose of cotton candy, giving way after a few minutes to citrus peel. cvvhrn hit it dead on with the "Mellow palate of pink grapefruit and citrus" though I'm getting more yellow grapefruit in 2010. Still kind of a short one-dimensional finish with the grapefruit peel lingering on for 30 seconds or more. Interesting wine but I think if you have it on hand don't wait too much longer because it doesn't give a hint that it will be improving based on previously read notes. Nice refreshing wine for a summer day.
