Saturday, May 15, 2010 - Blackberry jam and nutmeg are both very powerful on the nose here. The jammy flavors show on the palate, but the texture is a bit lighter than I expected. Full oak shows across the entire palate. It is an interesting experience in that the flavors are heavy in style, but the texture is on the lighter side.
