Saturday, August 1, 2009 - Garnet with a brown rim. Woody nose, cedar and tobacco with a hint of blackcurrant fruit. Good acidity with well integrated tannins. The fruit has nearly all gone, a hint of cherry; earthy flavours dominated by cedar, pencil shavings and smoky tobacco on the finish.
