Thursday, July 1, 2010 - Starts in a Burgundian vein with sour, red fruits, an appealing nose and penetrating acidity. This is really lively and fresh. With time the tannins evolve and shut this down. Deriving from this is a bitter finish which shows some oak too. It did alright if not great with food. As the night went on it held its own without really wowing. The acidity was always there as the backbone. I see this as having great potential in 2-3 years. My type of wine but really only a baby.
