Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - Ruby red, a bit hot on open, smoothed out over about 45 minutes of decant. Cherry, spice and a campground after rain - forest and smoke, while velvety in the mouth. That loveliness aside, short finish holds this back from being truly special.

For me the 08 Belle Glos Las Alturas did that to an extent, but it also offered substantial sweet spice which may or may not be too sweet for burghounds.
