92 Points

Monday, September 6, 2010 - Popped and poured 15 minutes before a roast tenderloin dinner. No decanting. Lovely, bright red color with a translucent edge. Sweet cherries, tart cherries, black cherries, raspberries, raisin, pepper, vanilla and some earth in a lively, young fruit collection. Multi-layered. Moderate acidity and low tannins, well-balanced. We followed this with a 20 year old Lynch Bages that was wonderful, but was definitely 2d in everyone's mind.
