Saturday, September 18, 2010 - Terminal City Club Dinner with Allen Meadows (Vancouver, BC): Pronounced nose of spice, cassis and pure cherry fruit overtake the senses. Very obvious VR. On the palate more spice and silky cherry fruit with sweet plum notes as well. Good acid and tannins give this wine a structured feel but the elegance and finesse are what you notice most. Decent length with pure pinot fruit coming through. A wine of great typicity. Really enjoyable now but will be better in 3-5 years. Excellent. 90+
