Wednesday, October 27, 2010 - Lovely deep gold colour here, almost like a middle-aged sauternes! Mellow oaky nose with plenty of waxy semillon character. Soft and buttery palate with just enough sauvignon citrus zizz to keep things fresh. Hint of petrol on the toasty and quite spicy finish. This will go a good 3 or 4 years yet but drinking beautifully right now. Bags of character, great food wine. To 2014 maybe?
