Thursday, December 23, 2010 - Pretty, pale straw in glass with a palate that expresses this grape in a New World display of richness and depth of flavor not to be found in its Spanish home. Chock full of stone fruit flavors, plus some honeydew melon, a touch of minerality with a nice backbone of acidic structure and a lingering, almost ethereal finish. We love classic Albarino, and this California alternative is everything we'd hoped to find. Going back for a case.
