Saturday, November 27, 2010 - This has a great nose with intense scents of full, ripe cherries and grapefruit all resting atop of a lovely minerality. The fruit blows up on the palate while retaining delicacy. Blackberries show first on contact, and some rhubarb flavors come in on the mid palate. Both flavors blend together and run out wonderfully. The tannins are lower, but balanced well with the experience. The acidity is full, and balanced as well. The evolution of the fruit, and the blending of the blackberry and rhubarb notes is quite wonderful.
