Tuesday, December 28, 2010 - Opened w 60 min air in bottle. Rich dark ruby color, only slightly lighter on the rim. Nose of cherry, cherry and spice with mineral notes - almost earthy. Big and rich on the palate but still very smooth, almost silky; moderate finish. Cherry with smokey-pepper notes, minerals & earth. Very nice bottle and a perfect match for the evenings duck confit.
