Tuesday, January 11, 2011 - consumed with pan roasted salmon drizzeled with good balsamic. color is just beginning to show a wine in transition to age. nose still largely dominated by stems, but they are better intergrated than in past bottles. red fruits, menthol, flowers, and forest floor apparent as well. medium body and soft mouthfeel. enough acid holds these components in check. finishes with clean red fruits, acid, and a whiff of minerals. well done and stellar qpr.
