There's a slight acidity that's typical in this wine, again cherries and beetroot, some soily funk. By comparison, the 2007 I have is more acidic, and isn't as giving at this juncture. They're still great producers, and I generally pick up their wines blindly when I get the chance. The fruit is still fantastic, yet primary. Think about drinking these within 2013.
