L'attaque en bouche est tout en rondeur et confirme que le vin entre présentement dans une jolie phase mais les tanins, bien que polis par le temps, font leur apparition en milieu de bouche et nous montre que la structure et la générosité de la matière de celui-ci aurait encore besoin de temps pour se fondre pleinement. Le tout s'étire dans une finale de bonne longueur sur un fruité noir et des notes minérales. Noté 88.

Rock solid delicious, though it needs a 30 min decant to take some of the nerve off. Perfectly resolved fruit and tannin profile; earth but extremely fruity.

N: Nice fruit (beetroot, black cherry), soil, fern. P: Cherries follow on the palate, soft, aerial pinot texture, Still drinking well. 13% abv Good wine. Would be fine for another 2 years IMHO.

Le vin est désormais dans sa coquille, comme plusieurs 2005. Cela lui a pris près de 2 heures avant qu'il n'en émerge, offrant un fruité beaucoup plus expressif et pur, dans un ensemble d'une densité comme on a en a pas vu dans les millésimes subséquents. À laisser reposer jusqu'en 2012-2013 au minimum.

No decanting prior. Young garnet color. A chorey is starting to decline at this point. This one was doing fine, with cherry and beetroot aromas just piping up. There's a slight acidity that's typical in this wine, again cherries and beetroot, some soily funk. By comparison, the 2007 I have is more acidic, and isn't as giving at this juncture. They're still great producers, and I generally pick up their wines blindly when I get the chance. The fruit is still fantastic, yet primary. Think about drinking these within 2013.

Une troisième bouteille de ce vin ce soir, non carafée. De loin la meilleure. Beaucoup plus expressive, tant au nez qu’en bouche; commence-t-il déjà à sortir de sa coquille? Le nez nous offrait une belle combinaison de fraises confites et d’épices; un vrai régal à humer. La bouche suivait avec le même registre, en harmonie, avec une belle concentration pour un Village. S’il continue d’évoluer dans cette direction, ce sera sans aucune parcelle de doute l’un des meilleurs Bourgogne sous les 35$ que j’aurai eu l’occasion de déguster. Ma douce a beaucoup aimé également. 90-91

Popped and poured. It’s hard to find another Burgundy that gives you that much complexity and pleasure for the price ($34 CAN) and it’s hard to believe it’s not even a 1er Cru. Great and expressive nose: cherries, strawberries, earthiness, fresh flowers, etc. Complex and appealing. Very balanced and delicate in the mouth, fresh, just the right amount of acidity, and deliciously fruity. Will be wonderful in a few years (if you can wait).

Beaucoup plus délicat et subtil en bouche. Malheureusement encore trop jeune et fermé pour être pleinement apprécié. Terre, épices, fruits noirs. Jeudi soir (non carafé), ça se bousculait un peu en bouche et je ne retrouvais pas pleinement le plaisir que j'éprouvais au nez. C'était même un peu mince à l'occasion. Cependant, vendredi soir, après un passage en carafe d'une heure, c'était sublime. Soyeux et parfaitement équilibré, des saveurs beaucoup plus franches. Une très belle finale fruitée. J'ai eu énormément de plaisir à terminer la bouteille le 2e soir.

Dark color a bit dull and matte in comparison to the other wines, a touch of poo on the nose, earth, tree bark, leather, decaying cedar, some iris, by far the most complex nose, absolutely luxurious in the mouth, round and perfectly integrated, a touch vegetal right upfront leading to a darkly fruited strawberry/blackberry midpalate with herb,earth, and mineral offering engaging complexity, a bit of clove in the long juicy finish

Wow. An entry level appellation from the cote de beaume showing greatly. would not believe for a sec that this is not a premier cru. A mouth full of freshness, of red fruit mild spices, minerality and a long finish. It took a few hours for the wine to open up, i think will be great for many years. A great vintage from authentic producer.

this is ridiculous quality at this level. color is definitely on the dark side, the nose has a hint of violets, red fruits and some rusticity. The palate is wonderfully textured, with a touch of wildness, and ripe red fruits. Sikly and elegant, which is hard to imagine for this wine. fantastic.
