Monday, February 14, 2011 - 1 hour decant. Very light, translucent color. Nose of wild raspberry and wild cherry opening up to a range of spices and a touch of green herbs. Palate is medium weight with sweet and silky red fruits up front, bringing lively acid and spice. The alcohol spike on the finish is worth noting but very well may integrate with time. The wine is a baby at this point in time and I'd like to give it the benefit of the doubt. 89-92.
