Tuesday, March 22, 2011 - My mindset was to hate this, because of the high alcohol. But, it does not show up on the palate. So I am more pleasantly surprised. Nice cherry (surprise) fruit, tannins still on the harsh side, some decent acidity. All in all, a very decent new world syrah.
