Sunday, May 29, 2011 - The nose of this wine had a fairly strong nuttiness to it. After noticing that aroma, others in the group did point out that the color of the wine was slightly oxidized. The palate had some citrus flavors, and maybe just a touch of sweetness, but the nut flavors were also present here. At times, this seemed very Sherry-like to me. This was interesting, and I was glad that there were 4 of us focusing on this at the same time, because talking about it in a group made it more fun to taste. There was a lot going on here, but it still came off as just a bit strange to me.
