Thursday, September 1, 2011 - This was a bottle I bought on a recent trip to Italy. In the glass this showed a light red tea-like colour with golden rim. The bouquet was herbacious showing hints of menthol, liquorice, coughsyrup. Initial attack was a bit unbalanced with drying tannins but this softened after a few hours. I enjoyed it more as the evening went on and the fruit started to show a little more.
