Tuesday, September 27, 2011 - Popped and poured the day I got it. Probably should have let it sit a few weeks but couldn’t keep hands off. Initially closed, not huge fruit, but could taste the structure. By second glass, had started to open up. Really big nose of black fruit, cinnamon, with tannins in check. Looking forward to trying again next day. Think it will merit higher score.
