Thursday, October 19, 2006 - I opened this wine for the first time in many years and was surprised at how badly it degraded. It was undrinkable. After leaving it on the counter and moving on to the 96, I came back to the 95 and was now surprised at how much it smoothened out. Very light style, this is no huge extracted Pinot. Cherry with clear green elements on the nose, a brambly twiggy sort of character. Modestly high acid and a sour mouth feel. Short light finish. This wine is done.
