Sunday, October 22, 2006 - Big, strong nose. Astringent, earthy, juicy. Powerful structure on palette, just as earthy and juicy as the nose. Tree bark, tight berries. Aromatic, reminiscent of bitters. Port-like nose (but not at all madierized). Paired wonderfully with a white bolognese and farfalle.
