Friday, October 21, 2011 - This was popped and poured from magnum on a golf trip to central Oregon. Many of the 9 other tasters liked it more than I did. The color was a nice deep ruby, right to the rim. Nose of cassis, blackberry, plum, oak, and herbs. Similar on the palate with a very nice texture and balance. Tannins are significant but harmonious, this clearly has lots of time in this format.
